SESTONIT
® is a special fabric that is resistant to high temperatures and has the added benefit of being thermo-indicative at approximately 800°C (colour change from green to blue).
Compared to silica fabrics, SESTONIT's
® application temperature is approximately 200°C higher and its main features include an increase in tensile strength between 800°C and 900°C, as well as high cut resistance in its unfinished state. The continuous application temperature for SESTONIT
® is 1200°C.
